ABOUT
Established in 1965, Lachoo Memorial College offers diverse programs in Science, Commerce, Pharma, Computers & Management on a serene 7-acre campus, attracting 2000+ students annually. The College is recognized under section 2(F) and 12(B) in the UGC act and is affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. The College has the unique distinction of being the first and only College in the Western Rajasthan which has been awarded ‘A’ grade by NAAC and selected as “College with potential for Excellence” by UGC and selected under Star College Scheme by Deptt of Biotechnology, Govt of India. The college has now heralded emerging as the foremost ‘Autonomous College’, commencing from academic session 2012-13.
CHALLENGE
Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology sought to increase quality student admissions by emphasizing & communicating their 6 decades of academic legacy. They aimed to connect with Generation Z, shedding their traditional image for a complete brand makeover. The challenge was to create a relevant campaign that would attract more applicants and improve the quality of student profiles. This transformation was important to maintain their reputation for academic excellence while appealing to a new generation of students.
CAMPAIGN
Universal Selective crafted a creative campaign for Lachoo Memorial College titled “Life@Lachoo.” Balancing their traditional marketing approach with a fresh perspective, we revitalized their image. The “Life@Lachoo” campaign highlighted that the college offers more than just education; encompassing Tech Events, Start Up Incubation, Sports & Co-curricular and much more. The campaign was designed to resonate with Generation Z, showcasing the dynamic and enriching experience at Lachoo; ultimately inspiring them to take admissions in the college.
RESULT
The “Life@Lachoo” campaign significantly benefited Lachoo Memorial College by attracting a larger number of quality student profiles and increasing admissions. By showcasing the college’s peaceful & cohesive environment, co-curricular activities, sports & cultural events, internships, and more, via a series of Print, Outdoor, Digital Ads & a Brand Film, the campaign strongly resonated with Generation Z as well as their parents. This fresh approach to communication highlighted the academic experience at Lachoo, transforming its image to be a new age outfit backed by a rich legacy of 60 years.
